America was founded on the idea and concept of “Freedom” by people who knew tyranny up close and personally. The ability to worship God freely drove people to get into tiny wooden ships, cross vast ocean expanses, brave an uncharted strange new world, all for the sake of freedom. From the time the Pilgrims landed through today, Patriots have been willing to lay down their lives when necessary all to defend and preserve this notion of Freedom and individual rights. America, the grand experiment which was to become the greatest nation on the planet all for the sake of freedom.
This freedom is something which is God given from birth to all men and women. Our God given freedom is not bestowed on us by men, governments, or entities although all too often throughout history it has been these very constructs which have sought to deprive us of our freedoms. Despots, tyrants, and evil people have enslaved others to further their purposes and wants. Escaping the slavery which resulted from the loss of freedoms has never been an easy thing to do by design. Slavery is a part of history which has existed nearly as long as man has been on Earth. The strong prevailing over those who are weaker or incapable of defending themselves against aggressions
The loss of freedoms has been something which has almost always been so precious that men and women have been willing to lay down their lives to preserve it. Bloodshed throughout history has been the price paid by brave men and women to guarantee us the very freedom that far too many now seek to remove from us. Brave and honorable people paid the ultimate price so that we could live in freedom in so many ways. Freedom to live our lives in the manner of our choosing was paid for with the blood of Patriots since the founding of America.
How are our freedoms removed or taken from us today? Evil men and women, usually for personal gain or the promotion of evil agendas continue to seek subtle, unnoticeable ways to strip us of our inherent and inalienable rights, our God given rights and freedoms. The process for accomplishing this has been done very, very patiently over a great deal of time. By stealth, in darkness, and the cover of night else we might notice and become aware of the encroaching malicious assault on all that we value and hold sacred. Nefarious control is exerted slowly but steady pressure over a very long time works perfectly.
Today, the stripping away of our freedoms is apparent when considering the attack on our freedom of speech guaranteed in the 1st Amendment. This has been achieved largely via the implementation and use of “Political Correctness” which deems certain thoughts or words as being unacceptable or unfair. Today, political correctness is used as a club to shame or beat us into submission and acceptance of ideas that are not truly ours. Under the guise of “Fairness” we are shamed into submitting to acceptance of things which are completely averse to our beliefs and philosophies. Our ability to worship God is infringed upon via political correctness and the bully pulpit of the left which is the media.
Loss of our 2nd Amendment rights is always the goal of weak, frightened cowards. Consider how Hitler was to accomplish what nearly was the conquest of Europe and beyond. The ability to resist this malignant evil was only possible after first removing the manner of resistance or the disarming of the German people completely. In America, the agenda is perpetrated with every conceivable effort by politicians and those who would eagerly remove our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms completely.
We must not tolerate those who seek to remove or strip us of our freedoms and rights. The price paid throughout history has been steeped in rivers of blood shed by Patriots willing to defend them at all costs. These precious freedoms, once removed would cease to exist and be gone forever. During Memorial Day in America, we remember and honor those who went before us, fought the battles, and sacrificed on our behalf to retain the fragile freedoms that still remain. We must preserve and fight for our freedoms and rights at all costs to ensure that our children and grandchildren can still live free. Thank you American Patriots, God bless America!
