What does this even mean? Websters dictionary tells us that it means the following:
SUBMIS’SION, noun [Latin submissio, from submitto.]
1. The act of submitting; the act of yielding to power or authority; surrender of the person and power to the control or government of another.
Submission, dauphin! ’tis a mere French word;
We English warriors wot not what it means.
2. Acknowledgment of inferiority or dependence; humble or suppliant behavior.
In all submission and humility,
York doth present himself unto your highness.
3. Acknowledgment of a fault; confession or error.
Be not as extreme in submission as in offense.
4. Obedience; compliance with the commands or laws of a superior. submission of children to their parents is an indispensable duty.
5. Resignation; a yielding of one’s will to the will or appointment of a superior without murmuring. Entire and cheerful submission to the will of God is a christian duty of prime excellence.
Submission is not always and in many cases not at all voluntary but rather by coercion or force. The Bible is full of examples of submission brought about by force. The nation of Israel was forced into slavery by the power and might of Egypt. Rome also ruled over the Jews and imposed their form of life upon the Jewish people. One does not have to look far to see case after case of those who are forced into submitting of their will, control of their lives, and loss of freedom in some form or another. History is rife with stories of conquests of nations, peoples, and lands at the hands of more powerful aggressors.
What about today, surely no one is enslaved or forced into submission by more powerful forces, right? First, we must consider what is willful submission as opposed to forcible submission. Fear is the ever present, all powerful motivator for submission in almost every situation. It is the fear of loss, pain, imprisonment, or even death that can result in willful submission. Forcible submission would be something along the lines of being captured by an enemy force and imprisoned against your will, you have no option and must surrender or die.
So then, submission is always a negative or evil situation? No, not at all. When one submits to Jesus, it is a choice and decision to accept the authority of Jesus over our lives and to attempt to live by the tenets and teachings of the Bible. We embrace the love of Jesus and willfully submit to the conquest of sin in our lives as we work to strengthen our relationship through living a Godly life.
We are taught to be submissive very early in our lives. First, we are taught to submit to the authority of our parents. We also learn to submit to the teachings of Educators in school. We are taught to submit to the rules, regulations, and laws of our society, country, and world. Through education, logic, and discourse, we learn what is and what is not acceptable to have a successful life and the freedom to enjoy it.
What if, however, we are forced to submit to ideology, worldviews, or lifestyles which go against our every belief? We have to right to decry such tyranny and resist with all of our might, right? We have but to look around to see examples of how that is working out in today’s society and culture. In many cases, those who seek to control our lives while enriching and empowering themselves will be in control the mechanisms of control such as government, media, education, and so on. Wielding the incredible might and power of a government with tools of taxation, regulations, and unlimited resources can easily bend us to their will. Add in a compliant and complicit media willing to go to any extremes from suppression of truth, false rhetoric, and to outright lies coupled with a weaponized government and to quoted a famous line from the TV show, Star Trek, “Resistance is futile!”.
An evil and permissive society embracing a culture of permissiveness of anything and all things perverse and corrupt from sexual immorality to outright deviancy. Through control or our language and blurring the lines of absolute Biblical right and wrong into a more acceptable, in their opinion, form of tolerant freedom. Redefining sex from the absolute Biblical and biological truth of male and female into a litany of nonexistent categories defining a particular desire or whim. Such sexual ideology is embraced and encouraged upon the most vulnerable of our society, our children who are then told to redefine their identity to suit whatever feelings prevail such as boys becoming girls or girls feeling like boys. The arbiters of such insanity are teachers and school Administrators along with School Boards who work in collusion with a political party to further an agenda of sexual indoctrination and weaponized and force acceptance of this perverse ideology. Should parents or citizens speak out against such evil, the current weaponized law enforcement agencies are typically loosed to investigate and intimidate us back into silence and submission.
Now, more than ever before, men and women must summon the courage to fight against this evil tyranny and unacceptable ideological enslavement. As long as we are silent and compliant, all is well. Should you attempt to speak out, resist, or defy those who control the “Levers Of Power” in Government or the Media, you will be subjected to jack booted, government thuggery disguised as law enforcement agents of DHS, FBI, etc. Fear of retaliation or retribution must give way to the courage to stand for absolute truth and what is right. Having our freedoms usurped and destroyed right before our very eyes must stop immediately. The mechanisms of tyranny must be destroyed and control wrested from evil, immoral, and corrupt leaders. We the People must again form that perfect Union to resist the evil atrocity that is far too prevalent in our lives. Willful submission due to fear must give way to reasoned resistance based on truth and justice if we are to survive with any semblance of freedom and morality.
We must again turn to our Creator, embrace Jesus and the truth the Bible while hedging against the lies of the Devil and the evil of society. Men must shake off the snares and evil traps spread before them to lure them into a compliant desire to surrender their masculinity or trade it for the illusion of society acceptance. Masculinity must not be defined by those who seek to destroy it but rather weaken it into something compliant and submissive to deviant definition. How long will we be willing to cede control of our greatest resource, our children, to those who revile us and have only disdain for our Christian beliefs and worldview? How long will we be willing to sit by obediently while our way of life is not only ridiculed and mocked but outright suppressed by every means possible? How long will we be forced to tremble in fear and sacrifice our integrity and morality to those who are devoid of such traits but also have nothing but hatred for those who do possess these qualities?
Now is the time to once again make our voices heard, to vote for those who more resemble our belief system, and wrest control of our treasure away from those who seek to destroy or redefine it into something unrecognizable to a just and moral people. Now is the time to return to Jesus and to embrace with every ounce of our strength, the love and truth of God’s Word. Only the absolute truth of the Bible and a personal relationship with Jesus will truly set things right once again. Tolerance of evil, in any form must be rejected and rebuked with all our might, with every thought and utterance. We must find our strength in the unity and peace of the love of Jesus and spread this love far and wide. It must be done immediately, not later. Evil must once again, be forced to submit to the power and authority of Jesus name at every turn. Putting on God’s armor and going forth fight against evil wherever it dare show its face from the back alleys and sin filled dens to the ivory towers of power amongst those who deem themselves elite, Gods light must shine brightly to cleanse the evil force it deep back into the bowels of the depth of Hell. Only our personal relationship with Jesus will muster the strength and power to resist and vanquish the enemy at every turn. It is this faith and trust which will give us victory over evil. Powerful warriors of justice must now arise and set about spreading the love and truth of Jesus to an evil and immoral world. God still reigns supreme!
