In times where the focus is more on political correctness than what is right or best for our country, how will we be remembered throughout history? Will it be for such monumental achievements as redefining marriage as something other than what God, biology, and nature designed? Perhaps it will be for appearing to care more about everyone’s feelings regardless of how many might be harmed in the process? Maybe for driving God and religion out of the public’s view once and for all? Quite frankly it seems to me that the lunatics are in charge of the asylum and insanity is rampant.  There are many who would rather remove all references to religion from public view under the guise of political correct correctness. So the majority of us who have no problem with the word God being on our money, or in our Pledge Of Allegiance, or anywhere else for that matter to appease that phantom few who “might be offended”. The majority of us who are absolutely fine with marriage being between one man and one woman should have to change our way of life to accommodate a vocal minority who at best might comprise 4% of our society? What is wrong with this picture? Our prisons are overflowing with young men and women who have not even a basic concept of morality or virtually no sense of right or wrong. To them murder, robbery, rape, or any crime is simply a matter of fact way of life. These sociopathic predators simply have no moral compass to guide them and are driven by a secular progressive mentality of moral relativism. In most cases the only time the slightest degree of remorse is demonstrated is witnessed upon their capture and based upon the fact that they were captured, not respective of the crime they committed.  We live in times of instant gratification fueled by a culture of entertainment based on sex, drugs, and rock n roll. Our children’s upbringing is typically remanded to the public school system and the television which doubles as an electronic babysitter until mom and dad come home from work if there are a mom and dad in the family structure. Even our heritage and culture is being challenged daily as the political correct elitists presume to decide what is and is not acceptable for all of us. It is socially vogue to mock or demean Christians while embracing any and all other beliefs. The “PC” crowd feels enlightened at passing out condoms and providing abortions to middle school age children but becomes apoplectic at the thought of seeing the word God on our currency.  These same enlightened visionaries think it is just fine to abandon everything that our country was founded on but would eagerly embrace failed political or social policies like socialism or communism.  These self deemed giants of intellectualism and wisdom would willingly throw open the borders to any and all who will eagerly come to our country illegally and would reward them with any and every benefit possible in the form of social welfare programs, drivers licenses, and even allowing them to vote. If something isn’t done soon to try to stop the ongoing attack on everything that we stand for then what will be the fate of our national soul? Do we really want to try to survive in a society devoid of right and wrong? Given their way we would soon become a society of unarmed sheep to be easy prey for sociopathic youth with no moral compass to guide them, forced to accept lifestyles which are contrary to the biblical beliefs and principals that the men who founded this country were guided by. Employers could be forced to accommodate prayer 5 times a day for some while forbidding Christians to utter the words Merry Christmas.These are troubling times, troubling trends, and absolutely frightening view of what our future will hold if something isn’t done to return our country to some semblance of reason.  Personally, I will continue to pray mightily for wisdom and guidance and will do my best to live my life as God intended.  Â
