Since the 1960’s we have seen leftist trying to make the idea of socialism/communism seem cool. T-shirts featuring images of Che adorned hapless youth who possessed little to zero knowledge about what Socialism or Communism truly are. Those who lived during the brutal, violent, horrific socialist and communist regimes of the recent past are all too familiar with the horrors that are the end result of these failed social philosophies. But, the left is all too anxious to whitewash and revise history to attempt to paint it as being cool while completely over looking the failure and horror that was wrought on the victims of these regimes.
What is even worse is the fact that now, we are witness to the rise of our youth who choose to support Sen. Bernie Sanders because of his rhetoric of “Free Stuff For All” espoused in his presidential campaign of 2016. When asked why they like or would choose socialism the typical answer from our enlightened youth is simply because of the free stuff. Typically, our youth have no clue as to even what socialism or communism stand for or represent. But wait, what about American Civics classes and teaching our youth about the socialist and communist regimes of the past, isn’t that being thoroughly taught in our schools you might ask? In most instances the answer is simply no. Since the 1960’s the Left of Liberals have completely usurped the education system from grade school through college and now viciously guard their iron fisted control of education in this country. If you doubt me, pick up your child’s history books and take a look at what is being taught now. Typically what you will find is nothing short of leftish propaganda and indoctrination. What the left didn’t like about our history as it actually happened was and is simply revised to what they deem an acceptable version if it is even allowed to remain in the curriculum. Look up the Crusades or the Civil War and enlighten yourselves as to what is being taught today.
Take a good look at what your hard earned dollars are going for with regard to college education today. Colleges and Universities have become little more than leftist experimentation labs for indoctrinated legions of leftist leaning drones who will perpetuate all things leftist. What do I mean by that? I mean you are spending money that you may have scrimped and saved to educate your child to have them become victims of intolerant, unrealistic, self righteous academics who see themselves as superior and smarter than anyone else and who know what is right for all of us regardless of what we might think. We are paying the left to teach our children to hate America and to embrace their ridiculous fantasies about Utopian lollipop lands that have never and will never exist. If Stalin, Lenin, and Marx could not make their own socio political systems work, how then will anyone else pull it off?
Whether they admit it or not, it is always those of us below the elitists who are in charge that will suffer and endure the failures of their social experimentation. Just as today where those in government are exempt from the very laws that they pass and levy against us. They do not have to live with Obamacare, they are immune from prosecution for insider trader, and their benefit package after leaving office can only be described as something worthy of Royalty. Politicians with little to no assets prior to being elected to political office magically start amassing incredible wealth and become ridiculously rich simply by virtue of having been elected to represent us in government.
What should be the most frightening aspect of this is that we will be left to deal with the wreckage and destruction that will be left after the leftists impose their failed thinking on us and it crashes and burns as it has always done throughout history, anywhere it has been tried. We sit helplessly by watching in horror as this misguided cretins try to ram socialism and communism down our throat while destroying everything that was built for the past two hundred plus years from the founding of this great nation. Growing up with and enjoying the fruits of the America that they want to destroy, these mind numbed urchins simply march blindly to the drum and drone of the left without question.
One of the biggest problems that we face is quite simply laziness. Our children are being raised with a horrible sense of entitlement that should send shivers up and down the spines of everyone. These kids have no concept of hard work much less work over all. Kids expect that everything is handed to them on a silver platter while they do nothing but play video games and ride skateboards. Now, they expect everything to be handed to them for nothing. Free college, free internet, and on and on and on.
As a youth I would go cut grass, rake leaves, wash cars, or anything else that we could think of to get money when we wanted or needed it. We learned to save for things that we wanted and to work hard for what we got and to take care of it when we finally got it. Our kids today are not even being taught to attempt or to strive for any degree of excellence but rather everyone gets a trophy for participation. There are no longer winners or losers and more and more youth sports programs have even quit keeping score.
Frighteningly, many adults lack a basic foundational knowledge of socialism and communism because they either were not taught about it or they were simply too lazy to research it and learn on their own. Go to a typical college and sit in on some of the classes that are being taught and you will have your eyes opened instantly. The traditional foundations of math, english, history, etc. are or already have been replaced with social justice, the gay agenda, racial and economic activism, etc.
It is far beyond time to find out exactly what socialism and communism are about and educate yourselves and especially your children about the truth before they are brain washed into accepting the tripe that the left is force feeding them. That is easily accomplished today thanks to the internet and Youtube and one has simply to search for topics like socialism and communism and start seeking the truth for yourselves. As we age, we will become increasingly dependent upon those who have been educated to accept all of the lies, misrepresentations, and fantasies and will lack knowledge of concepts such as rugged individualism, self reliance, thinking for oneself, patriotism, etc. If your life depended on a medical procedure and you will absolutely die unless this procedure is done and done correctly, would you rather have medical staff who excelled and were at the top of their class or those at the bottom of the class who got trophies for simply participating? Hmmm?
