Thank God

How often do you thank God and for what? How about our country to start with? Right now we live in what is easily the greatest nation on earth and has been for over two hundred years and counting. At present, we can openly and joyously thank God for anything and everything our hearts desire. But for how long? How much longer will this be true? How much longer can we openly thank God, praise God, write about God, or even think about God? If it were left up to the secular progressives which is a fancy new term for liberal cowards, it won’t be much longer at all.

 

Recently we have come to see that any and all references to God come under a complete, total, and all out assault from the leftist kooks who on one hand demand tolerance and understanding for their causes such as gay marriage but refuse to give any to those who dare have opposite view points. Hmmm, that doesn’t sound very fair, tolerant, or charitable to me, how about you? 

 

All those who freely choose to contribute to the sociological rot that is eating at the very fabric of our society and are engaged in every form of depravity and bad behavior demand that those of us who choose to live by standards, rules, and God’s law must accept and put up with everything that is thrown in our faces. Whether such behavior may be offensive or unacceptable we are expected to look the other way even when such bad behavior or depravity is flaunted in ours and our children’s faces.  

 

Those who would put their sexuality and bad behavior on public display and exhibition refuse to acknowledge or accept any restrictions or boundaries as prescribed by a moral or Christian society and yet they are the very ones who scream the loudest and are most intolerant to public observances of holidays such as Christmas and Easter. It’s just fine to teach our children about putting condoms on cucumbers and indoctrinating them about homosexuality, evolution, and the global warming myth but don’t dare say “Merry Christmas” to someone. 

 

There have even been lawsuits filed to attempt to remove the phrase, “In God We Trust” from our money, and to ban the “Pledge of Allegiance” simply because the word God appears. For what? Becuase someone may be offended? What about me and what offends me? What about the over 80% of the people in America who identify themselves as believing in God? Are we and everyone else supposed to shut up and jump through every ridiculous and crazy hoop the political correctness thought police come up without even trying to stand up for ourselves? Well guess what? I for one am jumping ship, bailing out, and getting off of the crazy train of political correctness and I will not be silent.

 

If you don’t like America, God, guns, and the Bible then leave. You want an Islamic society then go to one of the many existing Islamic nations and have at it. You want a secular progressive society devoid of Christianity then go to China or one of the socialist European countries where there is very little religion to be found. But don’t you dare try to tell me that I can’t love, praise, worship, or cherish my God! If you don’t like it then shut up and leave. Don’t let the door hit you in the backside on the way out and please turn the lights off as you leave. 

 

If you want a socialist, utopian, anti-american society then go to San Francisco, CA. You will absolutely be surrounded by nim witted, kool aid drinking, lefty nut jobs nuts everywhere you turn. That is liberal nirvana and serves as the shining jewel of why not to allow the inmates to run the asylum. The entire state is on the verge of financial ruin and bankruptcy. But, they have every conceivable nanny state program that can be thought up whether they can pay for them or not. Like just about any and every other state or city that is run by democrats who can’t tax you enough to cover the expenses of their big government spending frenzy, they wring their hands and moan about how bad the economy is and that they just can’t cover expenses. And yet, this is the type of government and spending that they propose to ram down our throats.

 

Yes, we have seen attacks on our rights, freedoms, and beliefs which will not be subsiding anytime soon. Now we have a new administration with a death grip on every crook and cranny of Washington, DC. The whackos are truly in charge of the asylum and you ain’t seen nothing yet. The attacks on our rights, our Constitution, and everything else that is truly American or Christian will be open game for the bloody battles yet to come. We have choices to make about how we will react. Will we sit silently by and just accept whatever comes down the pike or will we stand up and make our voices heard? Thank God for America, thank God for our freedoms, and thank God for our founding fathers who fought to build this country. Thank God!
