In My Humble Opinion :
The dogged determination being demonstrated by not only President Bush but also by those who have voted to end cloture in the senate absolutely baffles me. I don’t presume to know what is being done or said behind closed doors but it must be some powerful deal making. Considering that 80% percent of us are opposed to amnesty and the current versions of the immigration reform bill under consideration, why is there such effort to pass it?Â
Obviously this demonstrates a total disregard for the will of the people by elitists, career politicians who are completely out of touch with reality. Apparently they don’t think that there will be any kind of consequences or they simply don’t care. If that is the case, it does not bode well for we the voters of this country.Â
Ah well, we will have to wait and watch to see how this will develop over the next few days. I will be praying for guidance and a return to some semblance of sanity and reason. God bless the USA.
