For eight years there was a non ending, incessant, all out attack on George W. Bush and conservatives.  Bush is gone and Obama is undoing anything and everything related to policy and the Bush Administration  that he can possibly get away with. Bush was likened to a Nazi, a buffoon, and a monkey which are some of the nicer attacks on him.  Bush was assaulted on a personal level as well as his presidency and policy. No one associated with Bush could possibly escape being criticized, vilified, or mischaracterized by those in the politically correct crowd who scream the loudest and complain the most about anything mean spirited, intolerant, or cruel. 

 

Now Barack Hussein Obama is president and he can’t take this country and it’s government far enough left, fast enough. Almost everything he campaigned on and promised during election cycle has been abandoned, forgotten, or the complete opposite has been done.  Obama and the democrats are employing every conceivable form of “Hoo Doo” economics, magic, and incantation to create, fabricate, and transform tax cuts into tax increases, pork into special projects, and transparency into total darkness.  

 

And now for the first time in the history of America we have a black president. But don’t dare mention race or you are a racist, that is unless you are attacking white men, conservatives, or Christians and then it is just fine, in fact it is wonderful to do so.  The stranglehold that political correctness has on speech, thought, and action is anything but tolerant and is by it’s very nature, intolerant, unforgiving, and cruel in it’s application when applied like a heavy handed sledge hammer.  Gays for example may act out in any way that they deem and there is of course, no criticism whatsoever. If someone dare speak out against homosexuality, much less thinking such thoughts, why they are absolutely pulverized, demonized, and destroyed even if such objections are Biblical. Because Obama is black, no mention of race is permitted, tolerated, or allowed in any form. So much for fairness, equity, and tolerance.

 

When Bush, Christians, or conservatives are being torn apart, destroyed, or assaulted by the media there is stunning silence and such activity is not even deemed news worthy.  Regardless of being factual, relevant, or true if it met the criteria of the liberal agenda then it was absolutely acceptable resulting in stories where intentions meant more than fact or truth. Just like the Obama campaign and now presidency, it is style over substance.  Never mind that almost everything out of Obama’s mouth is a lie, he looks good doing it, the lies sound wonderful, and well gee, he believes them. No matter what Obama does, or says, there is no outrage, dissent, or any kind of animus to be found.  Obama supporters seem almost cult like in their blind obedience and adoration as they fawningly drink their kool aid and march in lock step to the directives issued by their messianic leader. 

 

One of my previous blogs was recently assailed and assaulted as being too caustic and the comment was made to me that all politicians lie. Although this is unfortunately extremely factual, it is wholly unacceptable and I for one am completely outraged by it and am completely fed up with being force fed lies, smears, and false rhetoric by the propaganda machine of the left that the so called mainstream media has become.

 

Call it spin, rhetoric, or buzz words, a lie is a lie, is a lie, period! It is way past time that we stop allowing any of our elected representatives to get away with it regardless how insulated, isolated, and protected they might think they are in their ivory towers in Washington, DC.  It is time for Americans to stand up, get in their collective faces and proudly and loudly proclaim, “You are fired!”. The brothel that Washington, DC has become needs to be cleaned out and all of the special interest, lobbyist loving prostitutes need to be sent packing. If what they say and do does not pass the smell test then they should be removed from office and sent home forthwith. 

 

This is not the time to be apathetic, complacent, and certainly not silent. We can make our voices heard and you are the last person that elected representatives want to hear from especially when they are about to hoist some pork laden, socialistic, Constitution trampling bill down our throats in hopes of some huge pay off from fat cat special interests or silver tongued lobbyists.  It has never ceased to amaze me how quickly a newly elected representative or just about any politician becomes deaf to we, the people which make up their constituencies after being elected.  Guess what? When the Congressional or Senatorial switchboards go into meltdown as happened during the attempts to pass such horrific legislation as the “Amnesty Bill” the elected officials begin to become nervous at the repercussions of their reckless or unconstitutional behavior and decisions. Rightly so these people need to be reminded who they serve and whose concerns will be taken into consideration whether they like it or not.  

 

Now that the lunatics are running the asylum and political correctness will in play more now than ever before. Despite the fact that their policies won’t work and in many cases will in fact do the opposite of what was intended. Despite the fact that there is no pay to pay for the Utopian visions of grandeur and socialism that they seek to enact. Despite the fact that the incredible power grab by government is completely wrong. And despite the fact that the Constitution and Bill of Rights are being assaulted, degraded, and trampled on we will be witness to every far left, socialistic, big brother government policy known to man. 

 

Those of us who saw it coming and dared to speak out against it during the campaign were met with ridicule, condemnation, or an all out attack as being racists, insensitive, mean spirited naysayers. We were supposed to swallow anything and everything that spewed from their honey tongued, mesmerizing, golden boy.  Even if your opposition is based in patriotic desire to preserve the country that our forefathers gave us that has survived and prospered and become the greatest nation in the history of the world, you are demonized, villified, and impugned by those who claim to be so caring, enlightened, and tolerant. 

 

I have nothing but unbridled contempt and animosity for anyone and everyone who would seek to destroy the America fought and built for us over two hundred years ago.  Just imagine where we would be if people like our forefathers or Christopher Columbus had been hobbled and hamstrung by liberalism and political correctness.  No matter how you spin it, or what buzz words you use to attempt to mask it, liberalism or any of its many derivatives is a failed and dangerous ideology. One must never forget that socialism is the next step towards the ultimate goal of communism which has never worked anywhere in history and never will.
