This applies to those engaged in politics, the media, and positions of power throughout this country. We currently have “Tech Billionaires” attempting to filter and present only one side of an argument and have applied filters and so called “fact checkers” to accomplish this. The only problem is that the filters and fact checkers are very much agenda driven and stifle or completely delete any dissenting viewpoints.

The so called mainstream media, beginning when the Trump candidacy became a reality, immediately devolved into “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and has not recovered nearly 4 years later. We have had to endure, hate Trump and Republicans or all things conservative, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. This smearing has included fabrications, anonymous sources, and outright lies. There is no longer even any semblance of an attempt to report factually as everything has become agenda driven and only approved talking points and storylines are presented as news. This is very much like what we saw with state controlled media during the height of the Soviet Union.

Most recently is the allegation against Joe Biden. One has only to look back to what we witnessed during the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh for a glaring example of the word described above. The so called #metoo movement has been completely silent on the issue along with the media, and people of one political party.

What is happening with the left, the media, and politics completely sickens and frightens this writer to death. The damage that is being inflicted may not be something that we will ever recover from but we must try with everything in us. America is worth the effort.

We are being lied to every day. The media, once tasked with delivering the unfiltered, factually accurate truth has now become a pale shadow of what it touted as it’s former glory. Currently, everything is delivered via agenda driven fabrication and delivery. Key words, phrases, and topics are debated and delivered daily to be parroted by the overpaid, self absorbed, Elitists. Most people are simply too lazy to seek the truth via alternative methods and lazily accept what is force fed to them by the talking heads on TV.

Sadly, we are not considered intelligent enough to think for ourselves and our rapidly declining Education System is doing their best to insure that we do not even attempt free thought through their rabidly partisan indoctrination model. People are easier to control if they are dumbed down sufficiently and are not capable of free thinking. As a result, things like unfiltered history, civics, and even mathematics are now taught in an agenda driven manner and has been for decades.

Determined to gain and keep power via any method necessary, the left of the political spectrum will resort to any method, tactic, and device possible to achieve their desired goal. No lie, deception, or cheating method is below them and are constantly enacted as long as it gets them the desired result. During the current Administration, the media have completely abandoned any semblance of fairness with regard to reporting and hypocrisy is the rule of the day. It is my fear that this will become the rule of the day and not the exception to the norm henceforth.
